regenerative agriculture

In various regions of Bolivia, the conditions for food production have degenerated, leading to situations of poverty for its inhabitants and putting the food security of the entire population at risk.

The causes of the loss of productive capacity of the production systems have to do, mainly with the loss of soil fertility due to practices such as monoculture, excessive use of agrochemicals, little or no replacement of nutrients to the soil and above all for not considering the soil as a living being.

Regenerative agriculture seeks to return to food production systems their ability to sustainably produce healthy food by replenishing soil microbiology, incorporating organic matter, retaining water, and using native species and the agrobiodiversity.
